While traveling across the US, we’ve encountered a couple of RV camp sites with no power service (30 amp or more) within the 25 feet reach of our standard RV cord and a level, or nearly so, parking area. This extension did the trick! Beats running the generator or suffering in the heat when power is available but our of reach!

Had to replace my power cord on my RV. It was cheaper to buy this extension cord, cut off the female end, and wire it in than it was to just buy a replacement cord. By like half. It’s a few feet shorter than my original cord (it must have been 30 feet) but with the savings I bought a 2nd cord so I will have a total of 50 ft for the price of a 30ft cord.

Very good quality power cord for the money. Fast 2 day Prime shipping. With RV cords, the terminations and plugs are what makes the difference as to whether it lasts or not. The Camco terminations also seem to be firm-fitting and will last better the one I’m replacing because they won’t have arcing that can cause heat and early failure.

This extension is just what I needed for our Class A. It is built like a tank and when on sale blows any competition out of the market. Delivery requires patience (not sure why but it was something like 4 weeks and could have went up to 8) but ordering in winter, it was worth it.

I have a Champion dual fuel generator (Costco Purchase) that has 9,000 peak and 7,000 running watts. This extension cable works perfectly fine for it, running a fuel load of electricity into a transfer box that’s connected to the main breaker. I did a test run about week after receiving the cable and was able to run 95% of the house on the generator using this cord.
